Hey — I'm Imohit. I'm a software engineer and indie game developer who builds the kind of games I want to play: small, fast, mechanically dense, and a little unhinged. Void Volley is the result of asking “what if brick-breaker had a gun, a paddle dash, and a screen that wouldn't sit still?” and refusing to stop until the answer felt good.

Every system in the game — the chaos engine, the upgrade tree, the combo math, the boss AI, the website you're reading right now — was designed, built, and tuned by hand. If you want to see the rest of what I do, my portfolio has the wider catalogue: side projects, open source, write-ups, and the occasional half-finished experiment.

Why Void Volley?

Most arcade games settle into a rhythm. I wanted one that actively refuses to. The ball gets faster. The aliens get meaner. The arena itself drifts and shakes. The longer you survive, the harder it gets to even tell where the play field is. Layer on a real upgrade tree and five difficulty modes and you get a game where two runs are never the same.

It's also a love letter to every coin-op cabinet that ever kicked my ass in a mall arcade. If a single “one more run” comes out of someone playing this, the project was worth it.
